Andy Larsson is the owner and driving force behind Skinner Sights, a respected name in precision iron sights and handcrafted firearm accessories. Originally founded by Andy’s mentor, Dr. Tim Skinner, the company began as a basement hobby that soon grew into a trusted brand among shooters. When Dr. Skinner decided to step away in 2010, Andy stepped up, purchasing the business and relocating operations to his hometown of St. Ignatius, Montana. He started alone in a garage shop, building each sight by hand with an unwavering focus on quality and craftsmanship. Ten months later, as the business expanded, so did the team adding lifelong friends and family to meet the growing demand.

By 2016, Skinner Sights moved into a purpose-built 5,000 sq. ft. facility, followed by an 8,000 sq. ft. expansion by 2022. Today Skinner Sights ships premium products to firearm owners across the country, hand-fit, field-tested, and built to last. Andy also launched Skinner Sewing, a cut-and-sew division focused on rugged carry gear and soft goods, offering high-quality production services to other American brands. Nestled at the foot of Montana’s Mission Mountains, Andy and his team continue to uphold the tradition of building reliable gear for the serious outdoorsman, because your equipment should be as dependable as you are.
